JAN MERCER SOLO EXHIBITION

This year, we are pleased to highlight the dramatic large-scale portraiture of Stonington artist Jan Mercer in the Schuster Gallery. Jan’s work has been widely recognized, having won first prize in last year’s 51st Regional & second prize in the 50th.

“I feel honored to have been chosen for this show when there are so many great artists in this area,” said Jan, who is also owner of Stonington’s AK Dasher jewelry store.

Jan’s striking paintings emphasize body forms and inner emotions. This show contains new work on exhibit for the first time outside of Jan’s studio in the Velvet Mill. Don’t miss it!
