The 56th Regional Juried Show is an all media, juried show open to all artists. Highlights from Regional shows include works of watercolor, pastels and photography.

William Butcher’s Solo Exhibition represents a cohesive series of paintings that explore the mysterious and illusive spiritual nature of human life. Butcher’s perception of form through drawing, design and color will also explore the paradoxical nature of the visual world both real and imagined.

The Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) consists of artists from all mediums including photography, sculpture, graphic arts, and painting. Each year artists earn CAFA membership by applying to its juried exhibitions. This year, CAFA’s annual salon in Mystic, CT features select pieces of art juried by Patricia Hickson and Jerry Weiss.

Poetry of the Wild (POW) is a participatory environmental art project connecting people to landscape by combining poetry, visual art, and nature observation. To participate in Poetry of the Wild, visitors can take a self-guided tour of the 16 poetry boxes placed throughout New London. Each box contains poems and a journal for public response.
