HOW DO I REGISTER FOR CLASSES?

Enrollment in Mystic Arts Center classes is limited and accepted on a first-paid basis. Registration for all classes must be made at least two (2) weeks in advance of the start of the class. Download our registration form: PDF or Word Doc.

Registration can be made by any of the following ways:

• in person at the Mystic Arts Center
• by mail at the Mystic Arts Center, 9 Water Street, Mystic, CT 06355
• by telephone at (860) 536-7601
• by fax at (860) 536-0610

Registration is NOT a guarantee of class enrollment. Successful processing of the registration form and all credit card information is necessary. Therefore, incomplete information on registrations forms may delay successful processing and enrollment.

Full payment is required at the time of registration in this manner:

• Credit card with either Master Card or VISA. We do not accept any other credit cards.
• Checks or money orders (payable to MAC or Mystic Arts Center) will only be allowed for mail registration or in person registrations.

WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR CLASSES?

All prices are listed with Member and Non-Member prices. There is a substantial discount in Member prices so please consider becoming a member of the Mystic Arts Center. Information on the benefits of membership are available in the Membership section of this web site. Registrations for Demonstrations or Walk-ins are not taken on this web site.

WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR MATERIALS?

Materials are included for all Children's Classes unless otherwise noted. Teens and Adults are responsible for all materials unless otherwise noted. A materials list is included in the class description for your convenience. To view, just click on the class title.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

The Mystic Arts Center has the option of canceling classes if there are less than the minimum number of students required. Classes will be cancelled five (5) days prior to the start of the class and full refunds will be given. Notifications to students will be made between two and five days before the start date of the class.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

Please read the class descriptions carefully for the exact dates, times and locations to prevent problems with registration.

After registering for a class(es), a student withdrawing ten (10) or more days before the start of the class, must notify the Mystic Arts Center of his/her intent to withdraw to receive a full class refund.

After registering for a class(es), a student withdrawing less than 10 days before the start of the class, must notify the Mystic Arts Center of his/her intent to withdraw to receive the class fee less a 25% processing fee.

After the class begins, a student withdrawing will receive NO refund.

WHAT IS THE MAKE UP POLICY?

Missed classes are completely understandable. In order to make up a missed class, you must make arrangements through the instructor. However, please understand that due to facility scheduling, instructor availability, etc., it may not be possible for the instructor to provide make up classes. If weather conditions cause classes to be cancelled, the information will be available by calling the Mystic Arts Center at (860) 536-7601. A voice mail system will provide you with this information. In this case, make up classes will be scheduled through the studio manager.

WHAT IS THE PUBLICITY WAIVER?

Unless notified in writing at the time of registration, enrollment indicates that student and/or parent/legal guardian of students grant permission for use of photographs and/or images of artwork and/or students for educational, publicity, archival, or grant purposes. These images will be in print or broadcast formats. Written requests denying this must be given at the time of registration on or before the first day of class by the student and/or parent/legal guardian of student if this is requested.

WHAT IS MAC's CHILDREN PICK UP POLICY?

Children 16 years of age or younger must be picked up promptly at the end of class at the Mystic Arts Center or other pre-assigned location of the class.
