Director of Development/Public Relations Position

The Mystic Arts Center, Mystic, CT seeks a full time Director of Development/Public Relations.
Candidates must have proven success and 4+ years experience in fundraising, including, but not limited to:  annual giving, major gifts, capital campaigns, grant writing and planned giving. The  Director will create a new major gifts program to identify, cultivate and track donors leading up to a  capital campaign, oversee key areas of sponsorship for fundraising events, develop a planned giving program, and identify and apply to  grant opportunities.  In addition, the Director will manage 2 part time marketing and event staff who will be responsible for marketing, membership, and community events.   The candidate’s qualifications include strong communications, computer, interpersonal and organizational skills.
