Elected Artist Membership

Elected Artist Membership is the goal toward which many of our artist members work. To qualify, the artist must prove acceptance into four Mystic Arts Center juried shows within any twenty-four month period. The Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts, which holds its annual exhibit at the Mystic Arts Center each spring, has a reciprocal agreement with the Mystic Arts Center whereby all works juried into the CAFA show are eligible for both CAFA and Mystic Arts Center juried requirements. This agreement provides Mystic Arts Center artists an additional opportunity each year to submit to a juried show, thus bringing the total number of juried shows per year to three.

If eligible, please fill out an application listing the show names, dates and titles of accepted pieces. Newly accepted Elected Artist members will be acknowledged at the next Annual Meeting and in the Annual Report and are entitled to participate in the Annual Elected Artist Show, the Annual Auction. Elected Artist Family membership is also available.
