The MYSTIC ARTS CENTER is an educational non-profit membership organization, open to all, operating as a non-stock corporation under the laws of the State of Connecticut.

The mission of the MYSTIC ARTS CENTER is to foster the creation, understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the visual arts through exhibitions and education programs designed to facilitate these objectives.

Central to the interests of the Center are the operation and maintenance of galleries and studios serving as a center for cultural activities in the greater Mystic area. Here the exhibition and sale of works of art and broad based education programs will support the mission. The Center will maintain an art museum and expand a Permanent Collection of art reflective of the importance and purpose of the MYSTIC ARTS CENTER.

Through dedication to excellence and high standards, the Center strives to promote the importance of the arts in the enrichment and quality of community life.
