Nature Art Camp
with DPNC & Laura Gaffke

Join instructors and campers from the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center for 3 days (Mon, Wed, Fri) at the Nature Center perusing woods, ponds & meadow – and 2 days (Tue, Thur) at the Mystic Arts Center studios bringing the wonders of the wild to canvas. Art Indoors and Outdoors with Fran Baldwin

Enjoy our beautiful setting along the Mystic River using watercolors outside on sunny afternoons, or drawing and painting and creating in our studios. Ramble through a bunch of mixed media projects, papier maché animals, and lighthouses.

Summer Shoot with Kid Filmmakers

Get experience on a working movie production unit. Participants run the cameras, direct, act and write the scripts in this exciting hands-on camp that teaches everything from acting, directing, lighting and sound, makeup, screenwriting, and more. This filmmaking camp includes daily movie screenings. Movies are shown to inspire and illustrate specific film techniques. Bring a bag lunch to enjoy each day.
