Kindermusik Family Time: Molly Ziegler

Join Kindermusik with Miss Molly for a dynamic and integrated musical learning experience, where each child is welcomed and valued and family “together time” is celebrated and cherished.  Infants 6 months and younger are free with accompanying older child.  
*(No class Oct. 11).  **Discounts are available for multiple children, MAC members,
and early-bird registrations. 

***Home materials are required for class, but need only one per family. 
Materials include Family Activity Guide, two CDs of music from class, two instruments,
two literature books.

September 20: Monoprints with Kristen Thornton
Get into the world of printmaking and create unique one-of-a-kind prints!

September 27: Underwater World with Alex Trachishin
Learn about composition as you create a wild deep-sea scene.

October 4: Mixed Media Collage with Jamie Jackson
Create a masterpiece using unlimited materials.

October 11: Shadow Theatre with Alex Trachishin
Learn about this fun process for making images to project against a screen
and put on a show.

October 18: Encaustic Painting with Kristen Thornton
Did you know people have been painting with wax for centuries? 
Check out a new spin on this fun technique that is as modern as it is ancient.

October 25: Monster Mash with Holly David
Learn about different body parts and piece them together to create your
own Frankenstein-like character.

November 1: Camouflage Lizards with Holly David
Reveal and disguise an animal in its habitat.  Learn about the art of camouflage in
the animal kingdom!

November 8: Printmaking with Jamie Jackson
Prints, prints, and more prints!

November 15: Watercolor Magic with Kristen Thornton
Explore how to create cool textures with household items while you paint.

September 14: Linoleum Block Printing with Kristen Thornton
Create easy linoleum cut blocks to use again and again with your own original print.

September 21: Decorative Koi Fish with Chris Pratt
Create a cool Japanese goldfish to hang in your room using collage and texture techniques.

September 28: Paper Quilling with Sica Nielsen
Learn the art of bending, rolling, and pinching paper to create awesome designs used
to decorate note cards and more.

October 5: Acrylic Still Life Painting with Alex Trachishin
Practice painting as you create a beautiful still life.

October 12: Gelatin Printmaking with Sica Nielsen
Don’t eat the art! Create cool monoprints on a gelatin printing base.

October 19: Watercolor Landscapes with Alex Trachishin
Paint your favorite place or get inspiration just outside the window.

October 26: Anime-style Art with Conam Lee
Learn the techniques used in this Japanese art form to create 2D or even 3D works.

November 2: Agam Painting with Holly David
Make two paintings in one by learning how to cut them apart and remount on an
accordion base.  One painting is viewed from the right, the other from the left.

November 9: O’Keeffe Flower Painting with Chris Pratt
Create brilliantly colored paintings using confident shapes and simple patterns in the
style of artist Georgia O’Keefe.

November 16: Cartoon Creations with Conam Lee
Become a comic-book master!  Draw yourself into an adventure or put your
fantasies to paper.

COLLECTIVE ART IN MOTION
Get the whole family moving and thinking creatively in our beautiful gallery spaces. 
Workshops may include movement instruction, art discussion, and an art project
created as a family.
For children ages 4 - 10 with minimum of one adult:
M $25 (individual or family) / GP $35
Groups of four or more: Additional $7 fee per person

TO REGISTER

Beginner to intermediate levels recommended for all programs. Teenagers are welcome in any adult class. Classes run weekly unless otherwise specified. Classes marked with an (*) run concurrently with a children's class!
